Removed my modulator from my 1970 TH 400 this weekend. I noticed it was bent tilting upwards. It doesent look as if something hit it. Is it supposed to be tilted up?

Anyway, being original I do not want to replace it as I believe it was working fine. Ground up advised that their replacement is not as nice as the orginal and really did not recomend it. If I do need to replace it does any one recomend whom sells a decent replacement.

The aftermarket is full of functional replacements. They'll work just fine. Usually they are about half the size of the original style.

Has GM discontinued the 400 modulators?
