I have very limited clearence under my car, and am trying to figure out what to do. Motor is a BBC with very large cam and very high compression. Mostly drag car, but will occansionaly drive on the street, cruizes, etc.

Just need to get it quiet enough to drive on the street some.

Should I go with,

Headers are 2 1/8" with 3.5" collector, Ed Quays, with slip fit.

I can say that I ran both the dynatech cone and the dynomax bullets. The bullets on my 427 were loud but next to an open header car you could definitely tell the difference. The cones, the only time I noticed a difference was when the car was running in the garage. Otherwise they really did nothing to quiet the car down.

Thanks. Glad to hear some real world info on the cones.

I like the dynomax bullets, they got rid of the loud crackle of open header. It gave it a nice deep tone, we almost liked leaving them on , on race day. We had to run them on Friday night street legal night.

I had planned on bullets, but not sure if I can fit, if not, would you recommend the dynomax collector muffler?

We just bought the bulluts and welded them on a spare set of header extensions we had laying around the shop.

Mine were also welded to a collector extension. It was before they offered the collector version.
