Drunks, a few depending on the venue. Never seen any out of control. Swearing, some, more the closer you sit to the ring, not too bad. Rowdy, definitely. An 11 year old boy will love it, same mentality as most of the 30 year olds that go to the shows.

No, I'm not a wrestling fan, I work (indirectly) for the WWE and go to shows sometimes as part of my job.

I've gone to several house shows and even went to Summer slam a few years ago. It's really quite entertaining. It's all BS,but its fun,Like a soap opera for guys. The crowd behaves according to the venue in my experience. Some really nerdy wrestling geeks wandering around at every show. Besides that it's fun to see if the wrestlers are as big in person as they are described on tv,since most heights and weights are exagerated

Triple H was at my work a few months ago to shoot a piece for TV. I'm no shrimp (6'2", 240) but he towered over me like I was a midget. By the way, he was the nicest guy, took a lot of time to talk to all the kids that were there, took pictures with everyone, joked around, a regular guy.

I know there's been alot of negative about the WWE lately with the Benoit incident, but all the performers I've ever met have been very nice.

:hurray: funny!

I've been offered passes to events long ago, but they never have seemed to fall on times I could go. Met several guys back then that trained locally and I can also say that almost all are NOT full of themselves. They like the attention, but are well aware that the fans are what drives thier business. Vern Gagne was a local promoter who drilled into thier heads that their in-ring personnas will stay there or on-screen. Guys like the Krusher Kowalski (Krippler Karl Kovacs aka Bert Smith), the Baron VonRaschke, and Jesse Ventura had bad guy image, but they were all decent. The Krusher was part of my old town's school board, Von Raschke was a substitute teacher, Jesse is over the top, but really was a genuine guy, and grew up blocks from my dad. Scott LeDoux is a county commissioner where I live now. I grew up down the street from Mean Gene's Okerlund.
