turbopowered68 Aug 3rd, 07, 1:52 AM It could have been worst
Imagine you breaking the wind shield having to buy another then waiting 3 weeks for it.
Imagine getting those nice new wheels on and driving away
Then scuffing the 2 on the Pass side then hitting a giant pot hole with left side and breaking the rims.
So if you really think about it you had a pretty good day after all.
LOL
Just trying to help
Good luck tomorrow Dude

THREE DAYS AT LUGNUT SCHOOL heh heh heh
I actually had a similar situation with my trailer and another popular chain.
Bought new tires----couple days later a wheel fell off while carrying a 76 Impala Wagon----tire went across 6 lanes of traffic. I was only about four blocks from the store that installed them, so went directly there.
Bozo told me he needed the lugnuts to put the replacement tire and wheel back on.
I told him---"If I HAD the nuts----the wheel would STILL be on the trailer, twit"
They did pay for the damage to my trailer though---good thing no one was hurt.

davis95 Aug 3rd, 07, 10:43 PM Stay positive. Are you building a car with a deadline like some of the ridiculous shows on TV? I realize your frustration but also know the the reality of redoing a vehicle. I've been working on mine now for 22 years and it still isn't to my liking. I'll keep on chipping away until it is. Sometimes I wish I had 27 people to rehab my car from junk to jewel in a week, but would it be the same as me doing it all myself and going through the pains alone. Keep on doing what you're doing and your car will be just like "you" want it in the end.
