just received my lunati 402a7, ordered from jay at lunati is this the same or just a bit revised version of your old ultradyne 612/630 288 /296 solid? what is the diff if any, also can it handle 1.55 dia springs set at 150 seat(1.9) and 360 open? thanks ray

Mr68,
The old 288 master didn't travel too well, besides it needed to be re-finished, as quite a few cams had been made with it.
You have the new improved version, and I guarantee that you'll like it. It will produce a little more torque, across the RPM band.
The 402A6 is the 107 LSA one, the 402A7 is the 110 LSA version.
The springs are just fine, if you break the cam in with outers only.

Hey Ray, what did the cam cost you? I have been thinking about ordering mine shortly (same cam).
163.00 for the cam 83.00 for the lifters

Just ordered my 402A8LUN from Lunati. Jegs and Summit had no idea what I was talking about when I said there was a 2004 Lunati supplimental catalog out with the old Ultradyne grinds listed. It was like I was speaking a foreign language. Sad when the customer had better catalogs than multi-million dollar companies.
