How do you figure out the displacement for a .060" over 396?

pi x radius squared x stroke x #cylinders

Ex:
a 396 has a 4.096 bore. 060 over = 4.156
r = 2.078
r squared = 4.31808
pi = 3.1416
stroke = 3.76
# cylinders = 8
So (3.1416)*(4.31808)*(3.76)*(8) = 408.05 cubic inches

Even easier to remember:
Bore x Bore x Stroke x .7854 x Number of cylinders.

If you look at your calculator 7854 are real easy as they are the 4 keys on the upper left & you just punch em clockwise,,,, don't hardly have to look :D

Ditto, Mike on the circular "punch the numbers" deal for .7854!!!!!
