Anybody know were I can find some ARP brand moly lube? I need to get some to use on my main bolts& I was going to use it for cam break in. I have been to 3 autoparts stores & none of them even knew what it was... Also didn't see it on summits web site.
Am I mising something? This stuff shouldn't be so hard to find!

Only about 10% of all available parts are actually on Summit's (or Jeg's, or alot of those guys') web site. But if you go get the part # from the mfr's web site or wherever, and type it in, you'd be amazed at that they have. All you have to do is to decode how they want you to type it in.
On Summit, they use a 3-letter mfr code that you can get by looking up anything from that mfr; then the mfr's part #. It has to be right: for instance, if you want Comp 981 springs, you can look up anything Comp makes, and find that their code is CCA. But you can't just type in CCA-981; they come in sets of 16, so you have to type in CCA-981-16. Jeg's is the same way except they use a 3-digit number for the mfr.

Sal,
Its not hard to find, you are just looking in the wrong places. Most machine shops or any engine builder that does any performance work should have it. We probably have 50 of the little packs that come in the rod bolt kits floating around the shop. We also buy it in the tubes.

Thank you Bill, I did end up finding an engine builder that is a ARP dealer. However this is what he had to say... Post in engine forum (http://www.chevelles.com/forum/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=9;t=016123)
