Are these good flow numbers for a set of BBC Heads?

310-315@.700", exhaust 250-260@.700"

I haven't read up much on flow numbers yet and need some input. I have an opportunity to pick up a set of 781's with these flow numbers from a friend. They are on a 3200.lbs car running low 6's in the 1/8th.

TIA

Purs,
Just my opinion but I wouldn't be to concerned with the .700 flow numbers unless you are running a huge cam.
The low & mid lift numbers will be much more important to you.
Those are pretty decent .700 numbers, the exhaust is a bit suspect though.
The Brodix BB1 oval is about 273/225 out of the box & the new RaceRite is about 340/236 & the new AFR which isn't available yet is 330/270 on an honest bench for comparison

Wolfplace,

thanks. By suspect do you mean the exhaust numbers are to high (flows to good)? Can you give me some good comparison low and mid lift numbers. I'm sure he has this info on the heads.

He is saying that he feels they fudged the exhaust numbers a little bit. Which I wouldnt be surprised either they seem quite high. But good luck none the less

SURELY NOT! A hot rod guy that embellishes an engine component.... :D Seriously though, this guy is a long time friend that I trust. If they do flow as well as claimed, will I see the benefit running a 620-630ish lift cam in my big block or will I only gain the benefit of these heads with a bigger cam?
