Chevelle408 Jul 30th, 07, 2:04 AM Thanks guys, the ralleys are 7 or 8 up front and 10 in the rear. The paint is Famthom Blue and I plan on putting the white letters out when I get some MT's.
chevelledude71 Jul 30th, 07, 5:28 AM I would have put the white letters out but thats me! Looks great.
Me too, oh and turn the headlights off. Other than that, the only thing I would change would be to give it to me. ;) No...ok...I tried.
Alwhite00 Jul 30th, 07, 5:44 AM Nice car, Beautiful. Pictures look good but on the lower angle ones I would try & get the 4th tire to show, I just think it looks better.

Do you have one headlight (driverside) burned out or is that the photo angle?
Chevelle408 Jul 30th, 07, 1:29 PM Thanks everyone, Bill, that's just the angle of the pic.

furball8994 Jul 30th, 07, 7:37 PM Car looks great. Pix look great too. I would try using a ladder and get some pix from above.
Something like this.

quikss Jul 30th, 07, 7:42 PM Personally I think Zach's low angles look much nicer. The ladder trick works nice when you are photographing a group, but in my opinion for a single car Zach got it about perfect. Nice work!!!!

Derek69SS Jul 30th, 07, 7:56 PM I agree with trying to get the 4th tire in the pics. :)
If there are any hills around where you can safely take a picture, it always looks good when you can take the picture looking uphill so that there is only road and sky, with no trees or other distractions in them...
High angle/ladder photos can look great too, but it has to be in an open paved parking lot with no lines or shadows to really work well.
Also, sunset/sunrise pics work well to show the true color of the car.
sg5492 Jul 30th, 07, 8:38 PM Nice car!!
70 SS LS-5 Jul 30th, 07, 8:54 PM Zach, I like the low angle sometimes, but in this case the apparent downward angle and camber of the road are taking away from the shot. You also need to photoshop out the tires' inside-facing white letters that are visible from the lower angles. Other than those two things, I like the pics and the car. My car was that color originally.

Chevelle408 Jul 30th, 07, 11:11 PM Thanks, I'll try and get some more tomorrow if the weather is good. I see what ya'll mean about getting the 4th wheel in the shot, it will look more realistic.
chevmal67 Jul 30th, 07, 11:46 PM try find a spot where buildings arent in the reflection on the car. i can only really see a building (or looks like one) in the 4th pic, so just an idea. nice car tho!
70 SS LS-5 Jul 31st, 07, 12:16 AM And just remember that Photoshop can be your best friend for removing inappropriate distractions from your image. Like bad reflections, the trees sticking out of the trunk or the inward facing white letters on the tires. Careful planning of your shots can eliminate most of these problems, but sometimes these things can't be helped. And since they detract from the shot, they should be removed.
Very nice car though. Looks great!
Mike
Chris R Jul 31st, 07, 1:05 AM Looks great, if I had the change anything. I would probably lower it a few inches but thats about it.
webfoot Jul 31st, 07, 6:19 PM I would remove the vertical grille trim! Since you are going for the SS look, anyway. Also agree with white letters out.
BB_Mike Jul 31st, 07, 10:07 PM Face the white letters out on the tires.
Raise up some on the viewing angle. We'd rather see the stripes and cowl bump and not so much the steering linkage and sway bar.
Adjust the visible reflection on the side panel to be the horizon and not the house. That may require finding a new spot.
Just trying' to help. :)
Car looks bad ass.
chevmal67 Aug 5th, 07, 11:25 PM so did you get any more??
