I was at an IHRA points meet today. One thing I noticed was the use of the RPM Airgap on all small block Chevy crate motor stock engines. The rules may call for a dual plane intake only, I don't know. If the class is open to any intake, this says a lot for the RPM Airgap.

Or does that stand for Internation Hot Rod Association?

I've known several people who prefer racing under IHRA rather than NHRA. I have no opinion because I don't race.

I have often heard that the IHRA events are friendlier and more layed back.
