I just saw the Moody Blues in Concert last night and I tell ya....they get better every time I see them. Justin Hayward is one of the only people I know that still sounds the same as the day they first started singing. He can still carry the high notes and the way his fingers dance accross the strings of a guitar are absolutely amazing!
Is anyone else going to see them?
Where are they playing? I didn't know they were still putting on concerts. A friend saw them back in the 80s and really enjoyed it.
I think they are great. I still have 'Question of Balance' on vinyl.
Kev, check your PM.

I've seen them two times, once front row, they great both times. Just curious, who was on keyboards? Patrict Moraz was with them when I saw, which quite a long time.

Good to hear this...I won two tickets for their show tonight in Saratoga Springs. Im looking forward to it. However, they're lawn seats, and it's supposed to be nasty out later today, lots of rain. I like them, but maybe not that much!

My mom took me to see them when I was ten, I couldn't wait for it to be over. This was back in the eighties, she redeemed herself and took me to see Billy Idol.
Sorry guys ;)

My wife doesn't like them as much since Ray Thomas retired.

How was the show? Did you end up going?
I was still so pumped up to see them but it just wasnt quite the same with my mother not being able to attend. I had bought tickets specifically to take her there but she was to sick to go. She just went through 4 months of chemo and radiation and had to get two blood transfusions 2 weeks ago. She is still pretty weak and when I called her wednesday to see if she still wanted to go, she weakly replied no but that she would be there in spirit. Then she started to cry which in turn made me almost lose it. I'm hoping that she gets better but things dont look to good right now.
When they played "lovely to see you again" it brought tears to my eyes. It reminded me of my mom and its one of her favourite songs.
