I started my car and now I tried driving it. And it seems like the the car is lugging like the tires are not turning. And sometimes the trans wont shift inot gear. Almost like thetrans fluid is low. But I checked the fluid and it shows full. Since I have a deeper trans pan do you think I may need more fluid?

If you're using the stock dip stick, full is full. With a deep pan normally it uses 2 extra quarts but the top level is still the top level. When you installed the deep pan did you also use the filter extension and a new seal for it? And most important, are you sure you installed the convertor correctly.... added a quart or two on the bench, and had clearance between convertor and flex plate prior to bolting it up. With the engine/transmission bolted together you should be able to spin the convertor with the bolts out.

I read one post that said to crack open the line to the radiator to see if fluid is pumping thru trans. I think the convertor was set correctly when I put the trans on. I did not know there was a extension for the filter. Where can i get one? Also I think I will add a pint at a time to see if this helps on the trans. Kinda acts like therre is not enough fluid in the trans.
