I put new brake pads on, dropped the car, and drove off. Now, when I step on the brakes, the passenger side feels like it jumps up and down real quick and there is a definite clanking sound (metal to metal). When I let off the brake, the passenger side jumps up, and there is another quick clank sound, but just one, not the repeating clank like while braking. I can't find out what's wrong. Did I install the brakes wrong?
I did let a buddy of mine driver toward me while I laid down infront of the car, and he hit the brakes (stupid, I know). The control arm on the troubled side jumps up and down, while it stays in place on the drivers side. It also rubs on the tire when I turn. Do I need to replace some bushings or get the alignment done, or whole new front suspension??
Also, while turning, it's like the belt is slipping for the steering pump, and I have no power steering in tight turns when I need it most. The belt is on there good...what do I do now?
