My weekend project was to install a Line Lock.

Here's how it came out:

Nice clean job. That's where I want to relocate mine after we get my carb dailed in :D
BTW how do you like the cheetah shifter?

Thanks steve!

I LOVE the cheetah shifter. :D
And the button that comes with the shifter works perfectly for the line lock install.

Your engine bay look great. Looks like the engine has never been started.

Looks good Brian,
However by NHRA rules it has to be installed downline of the proportioning valve IIRC.
So by the rules you have to plug one of the front brake outlets (on a 4 hole valve), install your line lock, then a T-fitting, to both the front brakes.

I've never seen anybody gigged for it installed as you have it though..

So you're probably good.

Yep,
I double checked to be sure I wasn't posting BS,

BRAKES & SUSPENSION: 3

3.1 BRAKES

Brakes on each car, regardless of class, must be in good working order with two-wheel hydraulic brakes on rear wheels as a minimum requirement. Four-wheel hydraulic brakes are recommended, or as specified under Class Requirements. Lightening of backing plates, brake drums and/or brake shoes by cutting or trimming metal prohibited. Cooling or lightening holes may not be drilled in cast iron disc brake rotors. Aluminium rotors prohibited (except FC and TAFC front rotors). If hand brake is used, brake handle must be inside car's body or driver compartment. Brake lines must be steel, steel braided or DOT (DIN/ISO) approved flexible and routed outside the frame rail, or enclosed in a 16-inch (40.6 cm) length of 1/8-inch (3.2 mm) minimum wall thickness steel tubing securely mounted where line(s) pass the flywheel bellhousing area and not routed in the driveline tunnel. All brake lines must be attached to chassis as per OEM-style; hoses must have mounting brackets; no tie wraps, tape, etc. All brake lines on any rear-engine car must be protected inside of tubing or be braided steel construction where they pass the engine. All pedals must be covered with non-skid material. Automated and/or secondary braking systems prohibited; application and release of brakes must be a direct function of the driver; electronics, pneumatics or any other device may in no way affect or assist brake operation. FIA accepted mechanical anti-lock braking systems (ABS) permitted in all classes (contact FIA Technical Department office). If brake system includes a differential pressure switch, line-lock installed on front brakes must have solenoid installed after the differential switch. All line-locks (electric or hydraulic) must be self returning to normal brake operating mode.

Does the distribution block have an internal prop valve?
I may just eliminate the block and install a wilwood prop valve in the place of my residual pressure valve, and install the residual pressure valve down stream to keep a clean appearance.

Yes,
it does have an internal valve. And a switch, that is why you have the wire running to it.
If the pressure differential gets too great it closes the circuit, lighting the dash brake light.

Setting the line lock and releasing the brake pedal may set this light off.

I like that line lock release button. Who makes that?

I see alot of people put their tach on the tunnel. I actually have mine mounted on my console. Give you clear vison, nouthing on the dash. All you need to see is the shift light...

Sean,
turbo action includes it with the shifter.

Jay,
thanks for the compliments, i mounted it there when i had the 6 cylinder in the car because i wanted it to be low profile.

Didnt have any trouble, i used tek screws.

Hard to tell from the picture but make sure that solenoid is fused.

Ken, the fuse is in the interior wiring, came with the Biondo kit.
