Hello
I need to know where to place my "SS" and 396 badges on the fenders of my 69 Chevelle. I had to use Malibu fenders for my SS and I didnt get a measurement of the distances of the old ones before they got thrown away. I also did the rear quarters and I dont have the hole for the rear marker lights I was hoping someone could take a tape measure and get the distances so I can get them close. Possibly take a picture? Anyone have a link perhaps?

For 1970 the exact dimensions are in the assembly manual. It is a good idea to have one as they come in quite handy and can be had for $20 or so.

Yeah I saw that...otherwise I could have scanned in the page. I am fortunate enough to have saved my Camino fenders to make templates off of. IMO it is a pain to measure everything correctly and make it straight.

Thanks allot for that post.
I thought someone might have an SS fender lying around and they could just take a few pictures. I also need to line up the rear marker light holes. Does anyone have a car without the rear side light bezel on it? Its easy actually. You just put your tape measure in the hole and measure upwards and record the measurement. Because the trunk is tapered you can only have 1 measurement from the start of the light hole...

The 69 assembly manual has the exact dimensions of the holes. If someone can send you a copy of the page you will have all you need.
