Help! I have a 1970 chevelle and haven't had a problem with the wipers until now. When the ignition is on, the wipers are on too. I disconnected the switch and it was still going. The only way the motor stops is to unplug it at the fire wall. Help me please. I don't know what to do next. Replace motor, switch or play with the wiring(I hope not wiring).

I'd confirm my grounds around the dash switch and motor are all secure before I did anything else.

I had this problem.

I would move the switch back and forth a zillion times and it would stop for a few weeks. Did you try changing the switch?
