Finally getting around to finishing my 66' chevelle. Put on C5 front and rear discs. Not sure I bought a very good master cylinder and booster for my project. Been reading through a lot of back issues of super chevy and chev high perf. looking for brake info. From reading them it seems like the best for my application would be a disc/disc MC with a 1.125" bore and a 8" dual booster. Just checked the parts I bought over a year ago for this and I have a 7" dual booster and a master cylinder with a 1" bore. I'm not too sure this combo will make adequate line pressure to stop a 3700ish lb car. Anyone have any advice? work or no work?

I had a 7 inch booster on my 67 with a 1.125 bore master cylinder and had very poor brakes. I bought a chrome 1.125 bore master cylinder and chrome 8 inch dual phram booster and not only does it look great I have excellent brakes with factory disc in front and Willwood in the rear. Works great on my car, 67 Chevelle 454ci. The 7" booster combo did not last but a few weeks as it would scare the hell out of ya (very bad brakes).
