Sad story indeed. I think the people in this country are loosing their minds. It really blows your mind when its close to home. The pregnant girl in Ohio that was killed last months live 2 miles from me. That kinda thing can really rock your community.

That is an incredibly sick and brutal crime. What is wrong with people..
This wasn't a robbery stake out, these people had evil on their minds from the second they got the idea to do anything bad.

Just let them go free.............. Drop them off somewhere & let the entire community know where & when. Their wouldn't be enough left of either one of them to bury. Sorry mf's.

That is just disgusting. And though this is a small comfort, when they are eventually tried and convicted, they will either never see the light of day again or be sentenced to death. Hopefully choice #2. Up here in bleeding heart Canada there would be no such satisfaction.

Not here in Texas. You would think we have a quota to fill each month of death sentences.

i (my company)was contracted to pickup the criminal histories on these two a-holes & fax them to FOX news. of coarse I couldn't help reading through them. each has over 5 pages of C/H. Nasty stuff. why they were on the street, I'll never know.

People have lost their damn minds. this one and the one in florida projects where 10+ kids (arrested so far 14, 15 and 16) repeatedly raped a mother, forced her to perform oral sex on her 12 year old son in front of them, robbed them and dumped cleaner into the little boys eyes.....we've officially gone 3rd world country with our crime. I hardly ever used to pack a weapon and its getting more and more frequent nowdays. This country is officially going crazy.

That would be a good way to do it..they should feel the pain before they go.

I really think this has to do w/ the fact that people have no regard for life, they have kids to get free money and set them free on the world w/ no reguard for anything. It is becoming a really sad state in this country the way we act and behave. Look at that jackass football player fighting dogs...so he is not already making enought money? This guy should never be allowed back in sports. What a looser. People are cracking everyday as there are more and more people than ever before. I think it has a lot to do w/ no family structure anymore...what does this society expect to happen?

It was all over the talk radio here today too. Typical extremists on both sides. What, in reality, can you do? The governor here wants to release 500 prisoners here because we can't afford to keep them. More prisons is a NIMBY project, all day long. Don't get me wrong, I'm all in favor of hanging them upside down and putting a pitchfork in their @ss but, at least around here, that's not going to happen.

Wont work in Cali / SF area. People pay and get paid for that.

They need to be punished. ;)

Hard labor, chain gangs (12 hour rotations, 24 hours a day and they split beds to reduce the crowding issue) etc - they need to be out there under armed guard fixing these crappy roads, expanding infrastructure, baking in the sun diggin holes, raising all their own food outside the prison and running farms

Not watching TV in their cell, roaming the yards, working out, playing basketball, surfing the internet, dorking the slutty female guard.....

Bring back Devils Island, Alcatraz....hell, outsource our prison system to asia or central america and we would get rougher conditions for these aholes at 1/2 the cost. People get employed there and we shake these bastids and they get to live and suffer like they should.

I say introduce them to bubba and his friends in a cell give em some ky jelly and let them know what they did to some little girls and tell them to pay them the same respect. And then fry them bastards.

My prayers go out to the husband and family and friends. It is a sad world.

ok, i'm going to say something that's not going to be real popular here. don't get me wrong, i'm all for killing these guys. i would gladly, and without remose pull the switch.

i'm just wondering if there isn't more to this. these guys came to kill, but didn't kill the father? he was in the basement for six hours and only managed to escape as the place was on fire and the cops arriving? the bank alerted the police, but the crooks had time to go home and do more damage? why did the lady even leave the bank, especially if she knew the cops were alerted?

this whole thing isn't making a lot of sense. and maybe it's just a chain of travisty. it wouldn't surprise me to see this thing take a wierd turn.

you guys back east, is this sounding as disjointed in the news as it is here?

As soon as I heard the father only had his legs bound and hopped out of the building in the nick of time, I thought he was involved. I thought I was being typically cynical. Something certainly perks my ears up here.

Same thing with the woman that drown with her kids in Conn. Something struck me as odd about that too. Especially after they found no defect with the vehicle. I suspect she was trying to pull a Susan Smith and chickened out at the last second.

I agree that these two need to die. BUT, Don't put them on death row for 15 yrs until there time comes. Put them into general population and let the word out that they raped and murdered an 11 and 17yr old. I can guarantee that they will get everything they gave 10 fold. They will eventually be found shanked in there cells.

P.S. I pray that this isn't the case, but If the twist that a few of you are referring is found to be true. The police need to release the charging doc.'s to the news and then wait about a week before picking him up.

Wow, I'm shocked to read this and all the other stories coming out. Why on earth other human beings are so cruel to each other just boggles my mind. You never heard of these types of things happening years ago when our parents were growing up, did you?

There are so many kids that don't have any supervision and their home lives are hell, but that still doesn't make it right to take another life or completely ruin an entire family. I'll never understand what goes through the minds of people like this ~ how do you go from getting up that morning to beating, raping and killing innocent strangers?

Why is it that we can't really get our "LAW-Makers" to get serious about the death penalty???? It would only take a few dollars worth of lumber, a few dollars worth of rope, and we could really start to make a difference in crime!

There have been plenty of incidents in the past just like this. According to FBI statitics, until most recently crimes like were actually on a decline. I think partly why it seems there is more of it is the ease of access for information.

Truly a sad state of affairs for those in that locale

That is a very sad and terrible thing. No one can even imagine the pain that father is feeling. Remember back when you could leave a door unlocked? Now you must make the rounds and verify before going to bed....

We need to get those 2 extradited here. Then justice will be served on these 2 sickos.

their probably kicked back watching cable tv and eating on us right now. they deserve to die in the exact same way that they killed , but we will feed them for 10 years first. the parole board members who left this scum loose should have to explain to the remaining family members why they were left out, and attend the funeral services.

Its pretty hard to protect yourself from something like that happening, They might have had a chance if they had a half a dozen pistols loaded and ready to go.

I knew a guy a few years back, he had a little cabin out in the country that he was renting, one day I went to his place for something, and I don't know how the subject came up, but he said look at here Rob, he reached down just a little on the inside arm of the couch and pulled out an automatic pistol, loaded, he had 4 or 5 of them around, one in the cupboard, in the chairs.

I didn't like seeing that, kind of scary, but he didn't have any grandchildren or any little kids around, so he was probably allright.

I won't say its a good idea to do this, but if that family had those guns loaded and in the chairs and wherever, it might have been a different story.

The other day I saw some older people in a older motorhome, and they had a little dog setting right between them, riding down the road.

They say dogs are one of the best deterents, big or small because of the bark.

But if you look around, you will see a lot of old people have one, and theres a pretty good reason for that.

Retirees like myself, children are all raised, and you think about doing a little traveling, maybe not having pets to tie you down, but the eyesight and hearing isn't as good as it used to be, so if you don't want to worry when you hear a noise in the house, then you need a dog, I will always have one, have three right now, all little ones, but they can hear as good as the bigger ones, and that should give the ol man here time enough to get the iron out.:)

Its a shame that our society has people out there as cruel as these two guys, but maybe down the road, or right now for that matter, to start getting pistoled up.

Rob
