I just got the Hydroboost system from Hydratech put on my 72 velle. I had some intial prolems that Paul at hydratech helped me work out. I can not believe the braking power that I have. I have driven a lot of cars, and these are now by far the strongest brakes I have ever seen. I would hihly recommend it to anyone looking to do a brake upgrade.

It's so hard to retrain your brake foot isn't it! Great system and Paul is also great.

I unintentionally locked my wheels up twice today on the way to work. I drove my velle for the sole purpose of trying to get used to the pedal.

that means you need more rubber on the road now! With a good braking system the limiting factor is usually the tires. :)

I am already running 17x9.5 all around with sticky street tires. That is about all i can fit without really starting to cut up my car.

I bought mine when Paul was first starting to market them and offered a group purchase to Team Chevelle if we could muster up ten folks to buy them and we did. Saved a hundred bucks over the normal price and after I installed it in my 65 El Camino I probably would have paid $100.00 more had I known the improvement was going to be that dramatic compared to the dismal performance of the 8" dual diaphragm booster I had. Night and day difference and who cares how much idle vacuum you have - doesn't matter any more!:hurray:
