gettin ready to put my tail gate hinges back together, i was wondering if anyone had any good pics of the hinges so i know which way they go.

68-72 hinges are labeled/stamped L and R, if i remember correctly. Flat headed bolts go into the gate itself, hex heads go into the body.

have u every replace the bushin in the hinges?

i used a set of door hinge pins and bushings i mixed and matched from ones i had and ones from pep boys help section, i think i had to enlarge one hole just slightly....the hinges are definatly side specific, but if you havn't disassembled them its obvious, and if you have, its still pretty easy to see which is which, if you do a search you'll find the thread with pics of hinges installed and not, and in which, we were discussing this very thing. i dont remember seeing any L - R markings and all my fasteners were flat phillips tapered head type screws (an impact driver worked champ for me)
