Did Anyone Go To The Goodguys Show InColumbus Ohio? There Was A Awsome 1964 Chevelle 300. The License Plate Read RPO-L76? I'm Not A Chevelle Expert But The Car Looked Correct. I Have A Few Pics If Anyone Is Interested.

I don`t think there was an L76 engine in 64. I see an L30-V8-327, L61- inline 6-230- hi performance, L74- V8-327 Hi performance:D

That May Be True. I Do Know The Option Was Available In The 64 Brochure. They May Not Have Built Any? I Do Know That You Could Get Just About Anything U Wanted Back In Those Days. I Looked At This Car Pretty Close And The Carb WasThe Only Thing I saw That Didn't Look Correct. The Numbers Were Correct On the Block And Intake. The Carb Looked Like A 3310 Holley But Was Hard To Tell Under The Air Cleaner. I Could Care Less For Originality 90% Of The Cars Out There Aren't Original. As A Engine Builder For Over 30 Years I Have Decked And Restamped More Blocks Than I Can Count. Original Or Not This Is A Nice Car That Any Chevelle Guy Would Apreciate.
