I have a 66 El camino and the wipers have stopped working. I put new wiper switch and wiper motor in last year. It worked great. Now nothing. I checked the fuse and its fine. If I push the button for the wiper pump it will work as long as you hold the button. I will not work by just turning the switch to on. Ant idea what it might be? Its a 2speed motor. All conections are good. Thanks

When you changed the switch did you put the grounding washer on the switch before it went back in the dash? It sounds like the switch is not grounded. The washer usually falls off and gets lost. The switch has to be grounded to the dash to work. The washer goes on the switch, then the switch goes in the dash.:thumbsup:
