Our local speed shop has a set of Merlins on sale(old stock) and I was wondering how they stack up against the Canfields .
Thanks all!
Johnny.

They are a lot heavier and dont flow near as well. If the price is anywhere near the same its a no brainer

I think MC71 runs them. Be carefull of the valves you are getting from Competition Products, vs ordering from Canfield, as the component quality may differ. Do your homework first, but the Canfields are about the cheapest aluminum head you can buy, and flow a ton. Go to www.canfieldheads.com. (http://www.canfieldheads.com.)

Go Canfields, no comparison. Go to chevyhighperformance.com and see for yourself. They have the best mid-lift flow numbers, which is what really counts. I have a set, fully ported by CFM Performance, and they're excellent heads. Good luck!
