I got my flowmaster super 40 ,i got them for $140.00 shipped for 3" offset/offset
they soud better to me than the 40,s
still have that sound but not too bad in side the car . my set up HOOKER HEADERS to 4' of 3" pipe(summit) to muffers then turn downs befor the axles collectors $25.00 pipe $30.00 mufflers $140.00 turn douns $10.00 .sounds KICK ASS FOR THE MONEY graemlins/thumbsup.gif

I hear they're louder on the ouside but quieter on the inside than the 40 series 2 chamber....

I just fired up my new 408 sbc and I have the 3" super 40's as well. They sound pretty good but to me seem mellower than the old school 40's I had before on other cars.
