Upon initial startup my car runs rich with a little blue smoke, however once she reach operating temperature the smoke goes away and after driving for a few mile the plugs looks good and the smoke is non-existance. I also do not have a choke on the 3310 and its held wide open with a zip tie. This engine just finish being rebuilt (July)in my Sig less than 50 on engine.

If it's a new engine I would put as many miles as you can,it possible the rings just haven't seated yet.Black smoke is usually carb, blue smoke is usually oil. Also retorque your intake manifold bolts they can loosen up from the engine temp going up and down on a fresh engine.

new engine break in procedure should be as follows start car hold at 2,500 rpm for a few minutes to break cam in IE: hydrualic and solid lifter (roller cams do not require this) second step to seat rings is go out and mash throttle to floor in gear go through all 3 or 4 gears and there seated period... besides that your done. any morning (blue) smoke is ussualy valve seals or guides and or improperly seated rings or a bad intake seal that is letting crankcase oil down the intake runners

Im my experience blue smoke *only* at start up is usually due to bad valve seals.

Sounds like hes saying it will smoke untill its warmed up, then stops. I would say check the intake manifold bolts 1st.

Thats exactly whats happening, once I take her for a ride about a mile 0r two the smoke is gone. I had the engine broke in on a dyno and made 10 pulls without any problems or oil leaks.
