The factory steering wheel on my '64 chevelle was 16.....I love the bigger wheels personally.

According to the Interchage book For the 65 standard wheel,62-64 ChevyII, 64Chevelle and Deluxe 66chevelle will work. For the Wood wheel 64-65 Impala,64-66 Chevelle or 64-66Cutlas will work.

I have a small wheel in my Elcamino too, but I have been thinking about putting the stock wheel back. the only thing I don't like is the 16 inch diameter. I found this site http://www.qualityrestorations.com/ They claim to be able to reduce the diameter and increase the grip size. I called , but I haven't gotten a return call yet.

Some 66 corsa corvairs and spyders had the same identical wheel .
But it is 15 inches in diameter. Its cool I seen one in Reno on a 66

I got the steering wheel for my 65 300 deluxe from a 65 ElCamino and it is a 16in.
