Does anyone know where I can get A/C bezels for vent balls new? If not, has anyone tried to modify the dash mounting area of the '65 to accommodate later model bezels? Thanks.

Derek.... I have not seen anything at any of the restoration places... I'm protecting mine because they are not repro'd.... that I have found.

You can check ebay. The ones i have seen are all worn, but the sill go for big bucks

I've noticed some of those on E-bay, I was hoping that there was some obscure group making them. Mine are pretty severely cracked, making them unsalvagable. Has anyone performed some sort of fabrication to convert those areas to another year, such as a '66? Thanks for the help.

Personally I have not heard of anything but you do raise an interesting question regarding a refab of sorts.

Still, I'd follow any leads and keep checking Ebay.

I was thinking of the '66 parts because they're available from NPD, OPG, and Year One, and they look similar to the '65. If the '66 parts are a close enough match, and only a little dash work would be needed, something like that could be a solution to this issue of the '65.
