67 Chevelle,TH-350.
The speedometer needle has started to bounce. Above 15mph it starts fluctuating wildly. The Odometer just stopped turning over at 18999.9(not actual mileage). Is this two problems or one with two symptoms?

The bouncing is actually from lack of lubrication in your speedo cable. You can either replace the entire speedo cable or remove it, pull the inter cable out of the sheath, clean thoroughly with brake cleaner, then lubricate the cable with white grease or bearing grease and re-install.

If your ODO isnt working, the gauge itself is probably broke.
