does anyone know if there is a height difference between the crossmember for the muncie m21 and an automatic transmission>
our car currently has the m21 and we installed a new tranny mount, the front yolk hits the floorboard.the car was an automatic before i had it and it was chenged back to a manual,before i got it.
i am hopeing to find that i have the wrong crossmember in it.
if there is a height differecne .does any one have a crossmember for a 71 454 with a m21?

Are you sure that you have the right tranny mount??

Make sure you have a 4 speed mount. The crossmembers are the same,unless you run Muncie Linkage,and if im not mistaken I thank you can put the crossmember on upside down?

is it possible that could have happened
