How do you go about fixing the body mount under the trunk on the drivers side. It has completely rotted out on me. Are there reproductions made for this fix, do I have to fabricate a new piece, or find a donor car? If anyone has any pictures of their fixes that would be very helpful. Thanks again for all your good information.

I think you are referring to the brace that runs between the wheel wells at right behind the rear seat. Mine is rusted also at the body mounts and no I have not found the part reproduced. I am just going to cut it out from the top and fabricate one up. From looking at other cars on a rotissorie (sp) the part doesn't look to hard to fab up. It looks like there is enough of my brace left in the center to use a template for the new part.

I need that crossmemeber for a 67 GTO that Im restoring, IT runs left to right under the trunk floor right at the edge of the under rear seat floor pan. ITs basically shaped like this -l__l- when viewed edge on, Excuse my drawing with letter skills.

Your drawing isn't too bad...mine would have looked more like (__x__). That's the view my car has been giving me throughout the restoration.
