I am putting a 6-71 blower on my 400 sbc I am trying to find a company other than BDS that supplies balancers for blown engines they want around 320 for one.

I bought an ATI thru Doug Herberts cost me $350 for my big block.Doubled keyed ready to go.

I think you are going to have a hard time beating that price by much. That is about the cost of a good SFI approved balancer. If you want to try another place you could call Oddy's Automotive 716-674-2500, Jim usually has a few in stock, and if not it doesn't take much to broach another keyway in it.

thanks for the input all, I guess I will have to bite the bullet and open my wallet for that balancer. I did find the v groove pulleys cheaper thru summit so that will lessen the blow. I am going to try that number you posted first thanks.
