I just read an article in Hot Rod about painting a car with rustoleum for $98 and a roller funny article.

I remember back in the day when guys would paint them with spray cans, the worst one I ever saw was one a guy painted army green and glued Army men all over the whole car!:D no kidding.

I guess that just shows you how important a good cut and polish can be....

I remember years ago my brother had a 62 chevy that he painted with rustoleum. He spayed it through a gun rather than rolling it, but it actually won a local weekend car show.....

A friend of mine painted his '52 Chevy with a brush - BLACK! It came out very smooth. The enamel took about a week to dry though.

When I was in HS there were a lot of rustoleum paint jobs. I even had a couple. If you do it right it comes out looking like Ford orange peel!:D
Other guys (mostly the farm kids) used impliment paint from the farm store and spayed them at home. Yep, lots of JD green, International Red, Ford blue and Case yellow cars!
