I know this is a fairly common question. But I have a BB (standard Deck) with heads that have the exhaust ports rasied .625". I was wondering what kind of headers anyone was using w/ a similar type rased port and 66 chevelle. I was looking at Doug's but i think they're for standard port. I was also looking at Stahl and Lemon's

I have Lemons in my 66 - I am tall deck and raised port but they fit perfectly.

Dan will have to take some measurements to confirm that their templates will work for your engine mounts etc and that you have the correct ones for their headers so make sure they will fit.

Great service - and if a tube did not fit for whatever reason they told me you can send back just the one tube and they can modify it.

I previously had a set of supercomps 2 1/8" and would not recommend them - the individual tube lemons are way easier to work around, and I can get at ALL my plugs easily with a straight shot extension. I could not do that with the hookers and I always ended up burnt and bleeding.

My lemons are 2 1/4" to 2 3/8" stepped.

Lemon's are great but will not work with manual trans .... Stahl seem to fit fine on my 66 with 5 speed the over the frame pipes like Lemons and Stahl use really makes the fit easy with raised ports .... driver side Stahl #5 will hit some tall valve covers FWIW

Thx for the info it looks like the stahl's will be the route to go.
