Looking at a few distributors to convert '70 to HEI. Noticed that Accell distributors have different parts numbers for Chevy/Olds/Buick/Pont. Will an Olds HEI work on my lil 307?
Thanks!

Nope, not unless the olds had a small block chevy engine. They are very different. Any HEI for any chevy small block or rat except the 366 and 427 truck blocks will work.

The non chevy engines were not at all the same as the chevy V-8's until GM decided to adopt the chevy designs as thier corporate motors. If it doesn't say Chevy then it is probably for the older BOP engines and wont fit your Chevy.

Do you have a Chevy 307 or an Olds 307? There's a BIG difference! (Olds did not have their 307 in '70, so unless someone did a very unusual engine swap, I'd be looking for a Chevy distributor.
