Well after searching this thread there were many diverse opinions on this topic, so I thought I'd just do a poll as to see if you guys believe the Stewart Stage 4 is a solid WP and worth it. So for those that are running one or know folks who are, please chime in, thanks, Dan

I don't have a Stage 4 pump, but I did have one of the lessor ones on my 454 and it worked flawlessly. The only reason it's not on the engine now is because when I changed it to serpentine I needed a reverse rotation pump and ended up with a Meziere. From a performance perspective, the Meziere works every bit as good as the Stewart, and from a looks perspective, the Meziere is ten times better. A billet Meziere costs $329 from Summit (for a big block Chevy) in case you were wondering.

Well, I won't take the poll, because I have never used one...

Is it worth it? I guess it depends on if you are having cooling problems and need the maximum pump flow...

I put a Stage 2 on my car, and saw excellent benefits...

Just looking at the Small Block prices, and it sems as the Stage 4 is $150+ more than Stage 2 (roughly double the price)...

Is it worth $150 more if a stage 2 (or stage 3) will work?

I would say most here with street cars use the Stage 3 with excellent results .......
