Good old Murphy is always around. Finally got the motor all done in the 66 1/2 ton. Start it up, it fires instantly and runs perfect. Let run for 10 minutes. Start thinking, man this is too easy. A second later water comes shooting out the side of the block covering everything. Stupid block heater blew out of the block. This thing has been in the block for 30 years, and has never leaked. I was gonna take it out whent he motor was out, but hey it's been there for 30 years it's not going anywhere.

Just remeber nothing is ever Easy. And if you think it is going too easy, run and take cover because something is about to go wrong. :D

Or how about this one? I once had a ford mustang... rebuilt the 390 and did the first oil change. New filter installed.... got involved in kids or phone or something... returned and started the car.
oops - no oil.

Dumb dumb dumb.
