are the 71' CLB 396/300 HP motors worth building?

what type of power have you guys got out of them with standard mods?

Years back I took a stock 71 402 and swapped out the large combustion chamber heads for closed chamber heads from a 68 396...slid in a LS6/L78 solid cam and an RPM intake
It was a blast with an M20 and 4.10's :thumbsup:

i bought a 71 402 got i bored 30 over bigger cam rebuilt top end edelbrock highrise and dynod at a tick over 450hp
