i have a 1969 chevelle ss, that is mostly origional, except for the motor. it is a brown car with a whit vinal top and white interior. the body is in good condition and interior is clean. its not perfect, but is not rusty its a great car to drive because of that. it now has a 427 that runs good in it with a turbo 400 trans colum shift. was orgionally a bench seat but now has corect buckets. i cant find a build sheet but have tracked the 2nd owner who bought it in 72 and confirmed that it was an ss. he doesnt have the origonal motor because he sold it in the 80's loking for a fair price to ask for the car because i would like to sell it quickly and not give it away. the car is located in WI if that makes a differnce. Thanks Kevin

Got any pics? Sounds about high teens to low 20s to start with to me.

Look at my ad in the TC classifieds (69) and you should have a reference point. This car basically needs nothing but a little R&R on the underside. I would think take $20000 and:
1. Deduct $2000 for an auto especially column shift
2. Deduct at least $1000 for the color
3. Deduct whatever you think the difference is in condition .
4. Realize these type cars are getting harder to bring the bigger money.

Without pictures I think $15-16000. Keep in mind your customer base may be locally as most people will not tack on $1000+ for freight unless it is special.
As you live in a higher demand area it may be easier but do not set too lofty expectations.

Pics would help as Chris mentioned and I agree on the high teens to low 20's
Sounds like a clean car

Would DEFINITELY need to see photos at the very least.. putting a value on cars is difficult work, doing it sight unseen is near impossible!! It is so subjective.. what one guys says is Nice or a good driver or show car is not the case to someone else... photos help.. but even that lends itself to issues... you really need to see a car and drive a car.. but given we can't do that here, Photos is all we can do to guesstimate a value. Without them and based on the short info given, I would say $13,500.
