Guys, I have access to a 69 Elcamino Super Sport and I need the pass side window regulator for my 69 Chevelle, I have looked at all my catalogs and parts books and it looks like these won't swap. Does anyone know for sure if they won't swap. Also where is a good place to send these off for a rebuild, I saw one ad in Hemmings for a gentleman in CA that does them any advise about this, nice to know how it worked out for others before I send them away. Thanks. Brian

A '69 Elky window regulator will not work in a '69 Chevelle.
I have no knowledge of the quality of work done by the Hemming's place but I do know these one year only regulators are available aftermarket from the usual Chevelle parts vendors.

I have a regulator from a 68 Elky parts car. I know we are not supposed to sell and/or advertise, so send me a private message and we'll make a deal.

Jimmy, I need one from a 69 Chevelle, from what I have read and found, the Elky one won't fit. Thanks. Brian

1968 Chevelle and 1968-72 El Camino are same same.
1969 2 dr hdtp is one year only.
1970-72 interchange.
I believe you can get the door regulator for the 69 Chevelle from a 69 Lemans. In fact I am sure of this.
I pulled a complete power window setup from a 69 Lemans because it interchanges with the Chevelle.
Don't know if the Buick Skylark or Oldsmobile Cutlass would interchange. I'm thinking no for some reason.
You can call a wrecking yard that uses the Hollander interchange manuals and they should be able to tell you what fits.
