: How Do I Check My Timing Chain 67_ss_black Jul 10th, 07, 10:07 AM Hey guys what's the stretch limits on the timing chain for my 402 BBC? I,m putting in a new cam after a lobe disappeared on the old CC268H. It seems to be a little loose to me. This is my 1st cam installation so am doing a lot of research. Any help is greatly appreciated. Any help is greatly appreciated. Bob I just replaced mine. The info I got from how to build a big block book is if it moves more then a inch from side to side replace it. And since you already have it opened up I would replace it anyway. It's cheap insurance you won't have any problems done the road. | ||
