hello everyone...
i would like to ask the people for a little help decoding a qjet carb that i have.

i am not sure.... but i belive these are the numbers for it.....

#7044202 C4 DC these are stamped into the carb on the side.

i have 2 books but neither has this carb listed....

it has "CARTER MFG FOR GMC" stamp into it.

Try a couple of things. One would be to go to "quadrajet.com" and look there. And do a search on this site. I put a some qjet site info into one of the forums about 2 weeks ago. And just google "carburetor xxxyyyxxx" , with the xxxyyxxx being your carb number. You may be surprised how much info you get. And try http://dyeager535.topcities.com/qjetdecode.html
