So now all parts are home and my machine is assembled.

I have a 454 bored out to 468. Carillo rods, Crower crank in a 86 4b block, oringed, decked.

I got a 0.039" Quench with an 0.32 SCE copper gasket.

On top its a 119cc Canfield 310cc head with Congo Roller springs, Arp studs, VTO retainers and locks. Pro magnum comp rockers.

I use milled down TRW 12.5/1 pistons for a static 10.8 compression.

I use Comp XR292R Streetroller. 660/666 lift and 254/260@050

Will use a Holley (viktor lookalike) Dominator intake.

2000cfm Billet Housing. 640cc injectors. Microtech ECU.

Will use 1-7/8 headers on the dyno.

Any ideas of HP? Old machine got 645hp@6100rpm with 781 iron heads and holley 800cfm.

Will dyno on monday ;) Sure thats fun ;)

Sounds like fun, I'd be interested to see what the power curve looks like even though I have a dual plane, slightly smaller seat, but a similar .050 roller cam.. what sort of RPM range are you expecting and what springs did you use?

I Bought springs from Competition Products. named Congo rollers. About 220 seat.

Stall speed is 3500 N/A and 4500 N20 so 3500-7500 max Hp @ 6500rpm.

Just a Guess. ;)

Hoping for 700+ hp.

You could do 700HP with one spark plug pulled out!

Can't wait to see what it puts out. Spin it high and don't baby it. ;)

I thought you had traction issues, always doing that "Street car championship" thing. Good luck with getting all of that power to the ground in a short amount of time!

Can't wait to see the dyno results. :D I'm building a similar motor, but carbureted with a 4.25" stroke, and I want to see some real dyno numbers versus the sim software I've been using. BTW, what are gas prices like in Sweden? A friend from Norway affirmed that we have it easy here compared to Europeans. I heard that it might go to 2 dollars a gallon here this summer for regular unleaded, and I don't even want to think about premium or race gas. One of the top stories in the news this morning was the announcement by OPEC that they would be cutting oil production, resulting in the price increase. I wish I could decide to work LESS to earn MORE money. Anyway, I digress, let us know how the dyno run goes, Kirk.

Btw, i bought a new rearend instead of my volvo hybrid. Now its MW spool, ends, axles with Arp bolts and 4.33 gear instead of 4.88

btw2, i bought a Special 10" converter from A1. thats a nice piece of art ;) before i stalled 2500 without N20 and to the moon with ;) But hey i got a BM holeshot converter ,)

Hoping for high 8:s on street. ,)

We've been over $2.00 for the cheap stuff for a while out here in La La Land. I travel a lot to the midwest and get a kick out of the guys in IN and KY complaining about their horrifically expensive $1.50/gallon gas.

So...

671hp@5900rpm

650ft@4500rpm

Engine runs perfect. But the headers were too small for high RPM hp.

So how much would a bigger header give me.

Used Flowtech 1-7/8 with 3" collector. He wouldnt run any other headers because it is tight on the dyno.

Im happy though. Mucho power to my lemans ;)

Good luck graemlins/thumbsup.gif

The printer failed. So i just have peak numbers for the run. ;(

My old engine had 669ft@4500rpm and 645hp@6100rpm.

I have 2-1/8"-3,5" collectors in my car. Hoping that the give me more top end. ;)

Im not dissapointed. So glad. less then i hoped for but it runs so good ;)

were both engines run on the same dyno?

The 2 1/8 headers should add 20-25 more horsepower.

I Hoped youll say 29 ;)

The problem is that i should peak about 6500rpm so with bigger headers i think ill do it.

Hoping for high 9:s without spray...
