I am currently in the process of rounding up parts to build a 396 in which i will bore over .030 to a 402. I am wondering how big the intake and exhaust valves can be and still clear the cylinder walls? I am seeing some aluminum heads for sale on ebay that have 2.25 intake and 1.88 exhaust valves for a much cheaper price. Does anyone know about these heads, i think they are called Pro comp heads? Thanks for any help.

If those are the Chinese heads they are thin knock off heads not good quality.Use the search there has been previous discussions.

Yea the Pro comp heads are very cheap, I dunno if they are trustworthy or not. The whole half the price and ebay thing kinda scared me away.
