what kinda roller cam would it take to kick me up to about 380 - 400 HP
350 bored 60 over
9.7 to 1 comp KB 120s
441 heads ported polished and milled....
edelbrock torker 2 intake
gonna get a carb to match the cam.....
cam was a xe268h-10 and went flat so were going to mover on up in numbers......
what duration and max lift would it take to get 400 hp????

IMO I don't think you need a roller to get those numbers, if the port work is any good. Also these guys are gunna need to know your car weight, gear, stall, exc. Also, I think most guys will tell you to ditch that manifold and get an RPM, or a Vic. Jr if you want a single plane (also depends on the above info).

well i dont want to have to put another cam in it for a long time.....so.... id like to go roller......... for right now i have a stock convertor i will switch when i switch the cam..... i have a 3.08 rear one legger i have a posi rear to put in it not sure of the gears yet i think 308s and ill swap to an rpm air gap latar on...... just a 69 all steel car prolly around 3800 or 3900 never weightd it.....

I suppose a 278/278R12, with 242/242 at .050 and .556/.556 valve lift, 112 LSA, would deliver 400-420 BHP about 6000, in a engine like yours. Many people have driven this cam for over 10 years without major problems, and it will go 2000 miles in 24 hours without breaking anything. It would be a Custom Lunati cam grind, part number 50199(order the EverWear gear option) and grind number 01-UR34-UR34-12-A01. Use a roller lifter with direct-pin oiling.
