WHAT would you run 64cc or 74cc heads ?

Kind of depends on what piston volume, deck height, and gasket thickness you've got.
Also what CR you're looking for...

i'm partial to the 64cc for my own reasons.

I want about 10:8: this can be done with 93 fuel pump gas?? ,or this is to much compression ??
I ask in another post about decking a block but realize it would bring compression to hight here are my #s:

406 sbc ,5,7 rods
68cc heads
-5 flatop pistons
.039 gasket
.005 block decking to get the .043 quench

With the specs you've listed above...

64cc will yield an 11.55 SCR
74cc will be approx. 10.37

Without knowing your cam specs, 10.37 CR MAY be OK...but 11.55 is positivly not pump gas friendly.

Here's a Compression Ratio Calculator (http://www.prestage.com/community/Car+Math/Engine+Building+Calculators/Calculate+Compression+Ratio/default.aspx).

I recently finish building my SBC 400 and your plans are very close to what I have throughout the setup. I went with the 74cc head to keep my compression no higher than 10:5:1. Take a look at my build and dyno results on what I have achieved.

i got AFR 68cc...but for mysetup, it yielded more compression to about 10.1:1.
