Keep your eyes and ears open for Tyler Don Bryant of Honey Grove Texas. 16 years old and just received the New Generation Music Award from the Robert Johnson Foundation over hundreds of people worldwide.

Appears to be next in line of great "Texas Blues" artists behind greats like T-Bone Walker,Freddy King,Johnny Winter, Stevie Ray Vaughn,etc. Opened for Dickey Betts at Dallas House of Blues and blew them away this week.

Parents will not let him sign record deal until he finishes high school. May not be a bad idea. Worth hearing if he gets close.

Awesome. The kid not only can play (to ssay the VERY least) but he's got it together. You just dont see 16 year old kids that well spoken, humble and talented nowdays. Hes waaaaaay beyond his years. Cool story behind the kid, his parents done good!

I'd definitely try to catch him if he were in my area. Way too cool :thumbsup:
