Im trying to figure out what a good fuel line size and pump/regulator would be for my 6500RPM 496... :mad: Carter 172 looks good, but would it support this motor? UDHarold had recommended 200GPH. And what would be good pressure? 8PSI?

I know the Carter would work, plenty of folks / posts on this site using that pump. I have a Mallory comp 140 electric, going to keep it for now, want to install a Mech carter for daily use and maybe run the electric at the strip for a little nitrous set up. Electric pump makes noise, I could live without that. Check out post from mc71454, he has posted great info about the carter pump, ran it vs. an electric pump on his big cube motor, same performance.
