I was wondering, how dangerous is Nitrous oxide, and with an edelbrock kit that can add 50-100 hp, would my 350 need any special additions to support the Nitrous, sorry if this question sounds dumb but I have had 0 experiance with Nitrous

Do a little research, give Edelbrock a call. 100 hp on a stock V-8 is no problem.

You'll be okay as long as you remember to retard the timing accordingly, have good fuel pressure and only use it at WOT (Thats what the micro switch is for that comes with the kit). The Performer system was made in mind for stock engines and is a good starter system. A fuel pressure safety switch is a must incase fuel pressure gets too low resulting in a lean condition. If it does the switch will shut off the nitrous system before any engine damage will occur.
