i know its not a chevelle but its still a chevy,i have to ghange my pit man arm on my 92 p/u. theres no room for the puller i have.92 1500,4wd,any help is appreciated

I had to change one on my 95, should be the same. I had to remove the steering box from the truck, then change the pitman arm.

You dont have to remove the steering sector completely I just take it loose from the frame and get it into a position where I can get the puller on there. That way I didnt have to worry about cleaning up the mess from the fluid leaking. You also dont have to uncouple the joint.

I had to heat mine with a torch to get it off my Chevelle.
