How much power are you sacraficing by going with 3/4 length headers vs. full? how about compared to shorties?

Get the Jan 99 edition of Chevy Hi performance magazine.
A closest to a properly sized header had gains of 28 ft lbs at over intermediates, and as much as 74 ft lbs over shorties  The 350 cid dyno mule tested at 340 ft lbs at peak with stock manifolds.

BTW... The equal length "Headers by Ed" units produced more torque from 3300 to 6700 RPM. I think that ought to dispell any myths about equal length headers "tuning" for a very peaky curve :D
